unconnected statements of fact.
Statement #1: In LMRU I used drive up banking exclusively. I never once walked into a bank to deposit a check or anything. Because I am afraid of the whooshing plastic bullet that hurtles things between car and bank, I never did that, but rather used the plentiful drive up ATMs (as a sidebar I always called them MAC machines until I was mercilessly teased in LMRUTown and converted to calling them ATMs). Now that I am in UU City I don't drive much. I also don't know that there are a lot of drive up ATMs. There is only one I know of but I would have to sit in traffic for about 30 minutes to get to the location. Because I feel bewildered without the drive up ATM convenience (but am unwilling to use the car to the one drive up I know of) I take an exceedingly long time to deposit checks. For example, today I deposited one from October.
Statement #2: I wish I lived in a much more tropical climate. It is going to be 10 tonight. 10 is a time. 10 is a perfect score in many sports. 10 should not be a temperature. In protest I am wearing flip flops. The protest was going well until I had to run outside and my feet got all wet and snowy.
Statement #3: Today I received my first Christmas present through the mail...from LMRUJenn. There were a variety of spectacular items inside. Currently I am wearing the t-shirt she sent me with the name of her school's mascot on it. I cannot pronounce the name of the mascot. I hope no one asks me about it because then I will feel silly.
Statement #4: I have had about 60 pieces of laffy taffy today. Literally. I'm flying high on sugar right now. Neat.
